Da Ros Emanuela

emanueladarosAuthor: Da Ros Emanuela
Where I live: I live in Vittorio Veneto, a small town which ended up on all history books because apparently the First World War ended right here. It is halfway between the Adriatic sea and the Dolomites, surrounded by (and I mean literally!) hills scattered with Prosecco. The air is fresh and the sky clear (most of the time) and full of notes, perhaps because Vittorio Veneto is the place Lorenzo Da Ponte, Mozart’s librettist, was born.

The kind of books I write: I write humorous books for children and teens: I simply try to look at everyday’s life from a funny point of view (easy if you try).

Languages my books have been translated into: German, Greeek, Korean.

Awards and Prizes: Premio Pippi Calzelunghe.

My favourite foreign children’s writers: Roald Dahl, Pamela Lyndon Travers, Christine Nostlinger.
